OAKHAM — The Oakham Conservation Commission approved an order of conditions for Tara Peck's single-family home on Robinson Road and postponed a decision on Moraga Storage LLC's proposed 180-megawatt battery storage system at 358 Coldbrook Road. Members Lucy Tessnau and Shawn Seeley, the only commissioners present, voted unanimously to accept Peck's conditions under MassDEP File No. 252-0156. For the battery storage project, filed under File No. 252-0157, the commission reviewed line-by-line revisions to a draft decision, including removing a reference calling the site a "junkyard" in favor of "automobile salvage storage facility." Tessnau said she wanted the decision to reflect "work depicted on the plans submitted with the current notice of intent." The commission voted to continue the matter to August 11, saying it did not want to vote without absent Chair Steven Gutulis and Vice Chair Carly Lindley Jr.
