OAKHAM — June 11, 2026 — Oakham Finance Committee approves $6,044 in year-end transfers and greenlights hand-printed FY27 budget mailer. At its June 11 meeting, the three-member committee — Chair Corey Packard, Vin Piuci, and Claire Hendrick — unanimously approved transferring $5,000 from Website and IT Services to the Legal account and $1,044.57 from Veterans Benefits to Veterans Expenses to cover three outstanding bills; both transfers had prior Select Board sign-off. The committee confirmed a total proposed FY27 budget of $5,159,443.53 with a surplus of $3,007.47, approved the text of its annual resident mailer under the full committee's name rather than any individual member's, and voted to self-print roughly 800 copies over three evenings beginning June 14 after finding no funds for outside printing.
